A diplexer is a device that combines two different devices that operate in diferent frequency bands to a common output port.
A bias tee diplexer is mainly a bias tee with the difference that the LF port is able to have a frequency band DC to 20 Mhz, DC to 50 Mhz or DC to any frequency which is less than the RF thru-frequency. Typical isolation of the LF port to the RF thru loss is more than 40 db.
The LF port to RFout includes a low pass filter to allow the specified LF port frequencies to pass with very little loss and filtering out the RF thru frequencies. This low pass filter has high rejection to isolate the RF thru port and LF port signals.
